Finance
Overview
The SNU Finance program is part of our School of Business which is accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). ACBSP accreditation is a seal of quality recognized by universities and businesses in more than 55 countries. In addition to a normal core of business classes, we focus on distinctive characteristics to make your SNU finance degree a step above the rest. Our first emphasis on an ethics distinctive begins in our gateway course, Ethics and Business Principles and is pulled through the entire curriculum, completed with the capstone course, Business Policy.
Unique Opportunities
At SNU, we know your education needs to extend beyond the classroom. That’s why we work hard to develop extracurricular programs to further your education. Learn through a unique internship catered to your degree at a bank or brokerage firm. Consider spending a summer and one semester with Morningstar Internships, an international combined study abroad/internship program working with the poor in developing countries to start their own businesses. Study abroad through International Business. This program will prepare you to work for multinational corporations as well as with international non-government organizations all over the world!
Other opportunities within the School of Business include Enactus, an organization dedicated to serving both local and international economic efforts. Chat with the Executive is an opportunity for you to hear from and ask questions of SNU alumni who are now leaders in their fields. Ethics Club is another organization within the School of Business, providing you an opportunity to hear from business leaders in the community and ask questions in a small setting. We have also had teams from SNU compete in the Oklahoma Ethics Challenge over the years.
